A few fun pictures from this month!

Here are a few fun pics from this month. As you can see.....David is getting harder and harder to "capture." Oh Well......Life is good!

Michael is 9 months old today!

Michael is 9 months old today! If you are not familiar with our "Monkey Pictures", let me explain. When David was little, we took his picture every month with the same two Monkeys, in his diaper, in the same spot on our couch. When he turned one, we had a composite made of all the pictures so you could see his growth over the year. We decided to make Michael's the same so here is his 9 month Monkey Picture. When he turns one in January, I will post a composite of all his Monkey pics too!

Michael meets Grandmommy

GiGi and I drove to Huntsville with the boys for Grandmommy's birthday lunch. We had a great drive up, the boys were so good. It was surprisingly cold that day and we were not dressed for the cold weather. Thankfully it was an indoor function:) Aunt Ann fed us a wonderful meal and GiGi brought cupcakes for dessert. Uncle Roy was there too and it was so good to visit with him. Michael was very interested in Grandmommy's oxygen tubes.....he thought they were toys:) It was a wonderful day and Mom and I had fun traveling together. We stopped at the Target in Gardendale on the way back and did a little shopping too!

More fun at the Pumpkin patch! There is so much to do here. They have a petting zoo which was lots of fun for David.

David is amazed to see Baby Cows. He wanted to see the Cows more than he wanted to see the Pumpkins.

Pumpkin Patch 2009

We went to the Pumpkin Patch with Pop and Gigi. It was so cold and so muddy. It has rained for almost a month...no joke:) We had lots of fun and did not mind getting stuck in the mud. Thank goodness for rain boots!
David sat on this Donkey but would not take a ride. We were proud that he even wanted his picture made with the Donkey. Last year he would not even get close to him.... Maybe next year!

My first official Blog posting!

Wow! This is my first official Blog posting! I have wanted to do this for years so Here we go!
David turned three years old in August and our baby Michael is almost 9 months old. They really do love each other and we can already see a bond between them. It is hard to believe that Michael is old enough to play with his big brother! David is doing so well in Mother's Day Out! Many of you know he had a lot of trouble being away from home in the past. This year is so different! He is quite the leader and loves going to school. He is also doing great in his new Sunday School class! Michael is crawling, cruising, and will even let go and stand alone for a few seconds. He is everywhere! David was not mobile until he was almost a year so this is all new to us! David has quickly had to learn how to share and amazingly enough has actually grasped the concept! Life is good and we are so blessed! God is so good to us!
